salt + honey began in 2012 as a custom order and pop-up bakery, providing sweet and savory eats for special events and local markets throughout Central Pennsylvania. Committed to locally sourced and whole foods focused food, our niche has always been rooted in an appreciation for blending creativity + plant-based ingredients to create yummy, nourishing eats. In 2016 we expanded to offer grab & go items at local coffee shops and speciality stores. In 2017, we took a leap and packed up shop + some of our favorite things, with blue skies and new adventures ahead in Tucson.

kelly wilt, owner & baker
When not playing in almond meal, Kelly works as a writer, social scientist, and holistic healing practitioner. She has worked closely with individuals and communities across the United States and abroad to help build strong practices for healing and wellness. As warm as she is fierce, Kelly is passionate about supporting people and projects that aim to leave the world a little bit better than it was before. In the kitchen, she's likely to be found getting playful with flavors + dreaming up ways to use yummy farmers market finds. Outside of the kitchen, she spends her days working for social change and as a healing practitioner, working with individuals impacted by trauma.
Interested in the intersections of individual well-being and community involvement-- food, movement, and mental health-- creative expression, activism, and healing-- and methods for building sustainable community-based initiatives, Kelly enjoys working in areas that are often overlapping and nuanced. Committed to meaning-making, intentional living, and supporting others in living their truths, Kelly works to inspire people to live authentically and practice compassion toward themselves and others. Through preparing food with care and love and through the act of sharing it, Kelly embraces a mantra of love and gratitude to all beings, always.
